Summary
This online video describes Positive Behavior Support, an approach to supporting individuals with challenging behaviors. This approach aims to teach new skills, and focuses on decreasing or eliminating challenging behaviors, while improving the quality of life of the target person and individuals around them. The Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) policy regarding "Behaviour Support and Safety Planning" reflects commitment to a positive approach to behaviour supports for adults.

Community Living BC (CLBC) is a provincial crown agency that funds services and supports for adults living with developmental disabilities and their families in British Columbia. Eligible adults and their families can either buy directly or access these supports and services through service providers or agencies. CLBC-funded supports include assistance with housing, family supports, connections with community services, and community inclusion supports (i.e., employment, social and life skills).
