Summary
The Personalized Supports Initiative (PSI) provides services and supports which are separate from CLBC services for individuals with developmental disabilities and intellectual functioning limitations. Instead, PSI supports are available to adults with diagnosed autism or a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) who have adaptive functioning limitations. The website has a list of important documents, such as the PSI brochure, PSI assessment fact sheet, and CLBC assessment summary.
Community Living BC (CLBC) is a provincial crown agency that funds services and supports for adults living with developmental disabilities and their families in British Columbia. Eligible adults and their families can either buy directly or access these supports and services through service providers or agencies. CLBC-funded supports include assistance with housing, family supports, connections with community services, and community inclusion supports (i.e., employment, social and life skills).
