Summary
This guide from the Ministry of Children and Family Development provides information on depression, its causes and treatment. A workbook is provided so teenagers can practice realistic thinking, problem solving and goal setting.
The BC Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) provides Autism Funding to British Columbia families who have a child or youth with an eligible ASD diagnosis. Families can access to $22,000/year for children under age 6 and families can access $6,000/year for children aged 6-18. Children and youth with ASD and other developmental disabilities may also be eligible for other services and supports through MCFD, such as early intervention therapies, school-aged therapies, infant development, supported child development, and family support services, including respite.
