Chapter 6 of ACT's Autism Manual for B.C. describes services and funding programs available through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) for children with special needs. It includes Family Support Services, Infant Development Programs, Early Intervention Therapies Program, Supported Child Development, At Home Program, and Supported Child Development Programs.
Families can access some of these directly; for others, they must have a referral through the Ministry of Children and Families. See Chapter 4 of ACT's Autism Manual for MCFD funding services for children with ASD.
