Title
The Salvesen Mindroom Research Centre
Summary
From the website:
"The Salvesen Mindroom Research Centre is a collaborative research partnership with the Scottish charity, the Salvesen Mindroom Centre. Our research is creating new knowledge about neurodevelopment and diversity. Together, we are using that knowledge to link research and practice, designing and evaluating ways to enable people to thrive."
The Centre is involved in many research projects covering topics as far-ranging as sleep problems, bilingualism, socialisation, developmental delays and much more.
Of interest is the LEANS resource pack (https://salvesen-research.ed.ac.uk/leans/about/resources/overview) which is a free curriculum to introduce pupils aged 8-11 to the concept of neurodiversity, and help them explore how it impacts school experiences. It is a teacher-delivered resource for the whole class.
