Summary
In this online video, the presenters use case studies to provide an overview of trauma and how it can present in individuals with ASD. Applications of applied behavior analysis (ABA), Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, are explored. A review of the literature is also provided.
The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration in Autism (CIRCA) was established in 2009 in the University of British Columbia Faculty of Education.
