Recreational Activity
Summary
These groups will be led by a Recreation Therapist and Rehabilitation Assistant. We will work on basic swimming skills and improving social skills such as: eye contact, waiting, turn taking, sharing, building relationships, and initiating and maintaining conversations.

• Fridays: 2:30 - 3:15pm or 3:15 - 4:00pm
• Saturdays: 2:30 - 3:15pm or 3:15 - 4:00pm

One-on-one lessons with a lifeguard are available to teach the Red Cross Swim Program, utilizing Visual Activity Schedules, sensory integration techniques, and focusing on social skills.

• Tuesdays/Thursdays: 3:30 - 4:00pm (younger children or those with sensitivity to water temperature)
• Tuesdays/Thursdays: 4:00 - 4:30pm (older children)
• Saturday: 1:00pm onwards, by request (flexible times)
