Summary
Sarah Welton is a Canadian Certified Counsellor currently providing counselling and social skills groups via telephone or video conference.
She focuses her practice in supporting children, youth, and their parents to build new skills, and deepen relationships so that the whole family can feel more confident, flourish and reconnect. Passionate about working with families to support healthy communication, playful households, and holistic child development, Sarah comes with experience as both a licensed BC Teacher and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). With over a decade of experience, Sarah strives to help each family to find their unique groove and to achieve the goals they set for themselves. To facilitate change, she bases her practice in data to help direct the work together. She is energetic and enjoys working with families who are motivated to move towards a goal.
Throughout the year, Sarah runs PEERS® groups (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) in collaboration with another certified provider to help youth and young adults gain skills in building and maintaining friendships.
