Summary
This 12-week online group program is for families whose child recently received an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) diagnosis. In the online education sessions, parents learn to better understand their child’s needs, strengths and behaviours. Topics covered include: sensory regulation, setting up a sensory smart home, mealtime strategies for picky eaters, optimizing sleep, play and social skills, and more. The program also provides an opportunity to connect with other families with similar experiences.
