This advocacy guidebook provides tools for navigating the system supporting children and youth in British Columbia. It shares ways in which youth can advocate for themselves, and offers tips to the adults who advocate for children and youth. It contains helpful resources to equip readers with the information they need to speak up and be heard. For self-advocates as well as advocates supporting children and youth, this guide will help increase awareness about the fundamental rights to which they are entitled while outlining the principles of effective advocacy.
