Mandate
Arts Council for the South Shuswap Society is a non-profit arts council committed to fostering a vibrant regional arts and cultural sector and supporting the arts in all its forms - literary, visual, performing, media, culinary and heritage, in a representative and inclusive manner. Through interaction and learning in the arts, the council strives to create a safe, inclusive and supporting environment where all can learn and experience the therapy that comes from engaging in various art forms.
Summary
The Arts Council offers year round dance, art, music and theatre programs. Both private and group classes are available for adults and children. Classes include visual art, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, private music lessons and music therapy.
